Sky Was Possible to Receive Vermont Premiere

With music by Su Lian Tan and text by Middlebury President and Professor of Religion Laurie Patton, Sky Was Possible—a song cycle for soprano, flute, and piano—will receive its Vermont premiere on Saturday, December 7 at Middlebury College. Tan and Patton will be joined by soprano Kristen Watson and pianist John McDonald to premiere the work, which will be featured alongside a program of J.S. Bach’s Süßer Trost, mein Jesus kömmt, BWV 151 and selected flute and piano works by Tan and McDonald.
